Mike and Susan's estrangement is the result of a tragedy the two were involved in. Not to worry, we will still see plenty of the plumber. Plus, Susan's new guy, Jackson the house painter (Gale Harold), is pretty likeable.

He certainly is. Something that his fangirls and fanboys have known for a long time.

There's a great Italian Gale site on the web that I can always depend on for Gale pics.

I found a post on Gale's IMDB page just now that links to the site and this picture. The consensus is that "Jackson" might be singing karaoke with Mike in a bar. We've definitely seen the shirt in a few of the promo shots.




I can't imagne what he could be singing. Maybe My Brown-Eyed Girl by Van Morrison?

This looks like it could be fun.

You know, I usually don't look forward to Sunday nights, especially when they herald the start of a new week with alarm clocks that go off at 5:30 am, kids that have sports and band, school committments and homework and just, you know, life in general.

But starting this Sunday, I'll have a good reason to look forward to Sunday evenings.

Honestly, I really don't think the latest behind-the-scenes picture of Gale is all that flattering. (See previous two posts) And I'm not the only one. There are a few fans on the IMDB boards that have expressed the same opinion.

What it all boils down to is the fact that as Gale fans, we're just happy to see a new picture. Any picture. And that confession is why I find this post on EW.com so amusing.

Mandy Bierly, on the Pop Watch Blog, waxes enthusiastic about Gale's upcoming role on DH.

"After seeing this behind-the-scenes photo of new cast member Gale Harold on ABC's press site, my excitement level for Desperate Housewives' Sept. 28 season premiere was at a 10 — even with the hair that I would trim and the shirt that I would lose. So you can imagine the squeal excitement at 5:52 p.m. ET last night, when I received an email saying that ABC had just uploaded the episode to the site. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say that this — or any — shirt really isn't an issue in his first two scenes as Susan's lover.

How excited are you now?"

I'm still pretty damned excited.
