Gale and the cast of Queer As Folk

A little bit of Brian
There's a girl on my LJ f-list that makes "Of the Day" posts about Gale, with random music vids and songs thrown in. A few days ago she posted this quote:
““Insert it into your mouth in a phallic way, Gale,” coaches the episode’s director, Canadian film vet David Wellington, between takes. “Make it a performance.” Harold takes the note gamely and in subsequent takes looks longingly at the eclairs before swallowing them whole.” ~ From The Advocate – Inside QAF.
Which resulted in this S1 screen gem.

Mesmerizing, no?

Received
I got my Wake DVD and the Puddle of Mudd CD in the mail today. I'm uploading my CD to itunes right now so I can copy it to my Zune. Eventually, when my husband loads the correct software on my laptop, I'll be able to copy Wake and all five seasons of Queer As Folk to my Zune so I can watch them on the go.
I am ridiculously excited at the prospect.
I found the official Wake website today and grabbed a few pics. Gale must spend a good part of the movie in a housecoat because in most of the pics he's wearing one. Not that I'm complaining. He looks gorgeous in it. *has a shallow moment*
Here's the site http://www.m4our.com/wake/pages/wake_intro.html

I also found a photo of the rehearsals, which I thought was pretty cool. I love "behind the scenes" stuff.

I'm going to watch the movie in a while, after my house quiets down.

Historic Gale
“He's breaking new ground for bringing sexuality to a performance, and not just gay sexuality. I don't think any other actor has ever done what he's doing. I think it's kind of historic.” ~ Ron Cowen on Gale

On my LJ f-list there's a user that posts "Of the day quotes, pics and songs" and the other day she posted this quote about Gale. Then, this picture popped up yesterday on my Gale Harold Google alert.
I thought they made a good match.

Gale news is hard to come by :(
This little message popped up as part of my Gale Harold Google alert.
The season premiere will begin filming on July 7. Season 5 will have 24 episodes.
Cast members known to be returning include Teri Hatcher (Susan); Felicity Huffman (Lynette); Marcia Cross (Bree); Eva Longoria Parker (Gabrielle); Nicollette Sheridan (Edie); Brenda Strong (Mary Alice); Doug Savant (Tom); Ricardo Antonio Chavira (Carlos); Shawn Pyfrom (Andrew); Kyle MacLachlan (Orson); Dana Delany (Katherine); and James Denton (Mike).
Bree's well on her way to becoming the next Martha Stewart.
Edie returns to Wisteria Lane, having also gone through significant change as well.
Susan has a new man, played by Gale Harold.
Many people have emailed me wondering about Susan's relationship with her new man, who may or may not be named Ken. I don't know anything about their relationship beyond the fact that they have one. It then goes on to detail the history of Susan and Mike's relationship and in doing so leaves no doubt that Desperate Housewives is indeed a soap opera. No one's life is that fucked-up.

And in keeping with the "Gale on TV" theme, here's a couple of pics from the 2001 TV guide article on Queer As Folk.

Talk about pushing my "Brian and Justin" button.

What the FUCK blogger?
I guess one of the reasons I don't edit my blog more often is because I can't find the damn thing.
After an hour of trying to edit my blog and apparently typing my request for help using the wrong words, I was finally able to get back to my blog and update.
It's Thursday afternoon! Who needs this drama?????
Because he's too pretty to ignore...

Gale Harold (r) with Randy Harrison (l) when they played Brian and Justin on Queer As Folk.
My favorite promo shot, ever.
