I watched The Fighter, with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale last night. Good movie. Amy Adams was kind of awesome and I don't really remember noticing her before.

Tired, tired, tired

What an exhausting day. Walked three miles this morning, went to the movies with the family (and almost went bankrupt!), shopped for school things, then ate a HUGE burrito and went to Wal Mart. I should sleep well tonight.

ION, I love Jared Padalecki. Love, love LOVE him. But seriously, after seeing the new Conan trailer, there's nooooo way he would have made a better Conan than Jason Momoa. That man is unbelievable. Not my type, though. But still-H.O.T.

I am currently in the middle of a Jensen Ackles crush-fest. And this picture? It DOES things to me!!! Nice, tingly warm things. I don't know if it's the unlaced boots or the scrunched up sleeves or the broad fucking shoulders. Or maybe it's the suspenders hanging down. I just know that I love it.

I do. I really do. I wish I could put on my other journals, but I am technically ignorant when it comes to things like that. So, I stay with plain journals.

My husband made carne guisada in the crock pot this morning and now my house smells like a mexican grandmas. Muy bueno!

Thanks to some ladies on LJ I was reminded that today is Gale's 42nd birthday. There should be cake! Hmmmm, maybe some Molten Lava cake from Chili's. That would certainly make me happy.

I have no current pics of Gale! I must remedy that immediately.

Google Chrome

Trying out Google Chrome as my internet browser. I usually use Internet Explorer so this is taking some getting used to. It's wicked fast and looks really sleek compared to IE. HOWEVER, there are no toolbars, the favorites (bookmarks) are on the right side instead of the left (although I did find a way a fast-and-dirty work around) and they won't stay open like in IE, and it just looks *empty* compared to how my windows looked in IE. If they'd just pop in a toolbar or two I'd be sold.
