So close, and yet so far away

So there was a Supernatural convention in Dallas this past weekend and I did not attend because I don't  have the financial means to do so. But if I did? I might have actually considered it.  That's if I could afford to do every single thing and get the good seats while doing it.  I wouldn't want to do it any other way.  It was the closest I'll ever get to a convention, unless Jared decides to do one close to his new digs.  THEN, I could possibly afford to go because I wouldn't have to sell a kidney to afford airfare or a hotel.  Something to be prepared for.  All of that aside, I did find a flicker account that has the most incredible set of con pictures.  It's belongs to jenna_jean and can be found here  http://www.flickr.com/photos/22456541@N07/sets/72157631630327110/

This morning TNT showed Supernatural's A Very Supernatural Christmas, and who do I see playing Edward Carringan, the pagan god?  Why none other than Spencer Garrett!  Who also happened to be playing a character named Lynch on the Burn Notice episode I'm watching right now!  Small world.  Small, small world indeed.

Coincidence?  I think not!

Damn, it was hot here today. Record setting 107 degrees!  107. If it weren't for air conditioning, I'd be a big old puddle of goo right now and that would not be a pretty sight to see.  Not at all.

Because it's only supposed to  be 100 degrees here today (as opposed to the 107-108 degrees from this time last year), I thought I'd post another picture of Jared in Rio.

ION, I am anxiously awaiting fall. Unfortunately, we don't get much of that here.  Doesn't mean I won't keep my fingers crossed, though :)
