Oh Gale, PLEASE be more careful

I've been gone all morning and what do I see the first thing as I log onto my computer?

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. television actor Gale Harold has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash, TMZ reported Wednesday.Harold is best known for playing Teri Hatcher's character's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives," as well as Brian on "Queer as Folk."TMZ said he is in the Intensive Care Unit of Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center following Tuesday's crash.The report did not give any details regarding the incident or the nature of Harold's injuries.

Then an update from USmagazine.com

"He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries," his rep tells Usmagazine.com. "Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident."

Harold, 38, is currently recovering in Los Angeles.

TMZ.com first reported the news.Gale -- who plays Teri Hatcher's beau on Housewives -- previously appeared on Showtime's Queer as Folk.

According to a representative for the actor, "We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident."

Gale Harold plays Jackson, Susan Mayer's (Teri Hatcher) new man, this season on Desperate Housewives. He also has a huge cult following among TV fans from his days on Showtime's Queer as Folk.
